Well, for starters I find the apparently facetious tone of such statement unprofessional at best and less than knowledgable at worst (the word 'ignorance' comes to mind,) a cursory review of Mac owners' opinions of Lion when compared to Snow Leopard clearly indicate a preference for the latter, a significant number of Mac owners who 'upgraded' to Lion came to regret having done it, many of them even have gone so far as to downgrade to Snow Leopard, basically Lion is a Service Pack for OS X that leaves much to be desired, there is no need to code applications solely for Lion, as they can easily be coded to simultaneously work on both Snow Leopard and Lion with the Lion exclusive functions and features disabled for Snow Leopard users. I only encountered this problem once in the two weeks I evaluated Trickster before purchasing it, but nevertheless it is an issue. The first is that it occasionally goes nuts and eats up a lot of CPU, as others have reported below. There are two reasons I'm giving Trickster only four stars. One of the (minor) downsides of the way Trickster is programmed is that it shows files for any modification, including hiding the file extension or changing the colour label, even if the file has not otherwise been modified. Trickster shows me all files that have been opened or modified, including files in my Dropbox that were modified on another computer. Some other similar apps also offer this feature, but in my experience they miss some files. I like the ability to create categories that are limited to specific folders and file types, as that allows me to find certain files quickly. Trickster is the best app I've found for accessing recent files (and I have tried them all!).
